The Yacht Show at National Harbor invites you to participate in our inaugural, world-class event scheduled
June 5 through June 8, 2008 in National Harbor, Maryland, on the Potomac River at Washington, D. C. Read on
and you will surely concur that exhibiting in this event will present opportunities unparalleled anywhere
in the world. By contracting now, you will receive incredible introductory rates and will be guaranteed
space in the show in future years.
The Yacht Show at National Harbor will be held at the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
National Harbor is located in Maryland, the wealthiest of all of the states, bar none. National Harbor is
across the Potomac River from Fairfax County, Virginia, the richest county of all of the thousands in the
country. Next to Fairfax on the Potomac is Loudoun County, the second richest. Third in the country is
Howard County, Maryland, just on the other side of Washington,
D.C., which, itself, is just across the Interstates 95 and 495 from our venue*.
National Harbor** is the largest multi-use project on the East Coast. National Harbor will include 7.3 million
square feet of offices, hotels, restaurants, retail stores and condominiums. At completion, the site will
house over 4,000 hotel rooms, the 470,000 square foot Gaylord convention center, one million square feet
of dining and entertainment space, 500,000 square feet of class A office space, a new full service marina
and over 10,000 parking spaces, all resting on 300 acres of gently sloping, well manicured, protected,
secure land with one and one-quarter miles of Potomac River waterfront.
National Harbor is nestled across from historic Alexandria, Virginia, within an urban area (50 mile radius)
of over seven and one-half million well educated, sophisticated, wage earners with an average annual
household income of over $85,000. Their playground is the incomparable Chesapeake Bay with over 7,000
miles of pristine waterfront.
Add the fact that National Harbor is the entrance and gateway from the Chesapeake Bay to the upstream
Washington, D.C. waterfront on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers in the heart of the city. Washington riverfronts,
sadly neglected in the past, are being renewed on a breathtaking scale. Construction is either underway or
in the pipeline for another $12 billion of Washington waterfront improvements, that will include a 22 mile
multi-use waterfront trail on the Anacostia, 6,830 housing units, 715,000 square feet of retail, 2,725,000
square feet of class A office, plus acres of parks and cultural centers. Planning is underway for
development of another 130-acre downtown parcel***.
The market at National Harbor is big. In a few years to come, it will be huge. No site is better situated
than National Harbor, accessible, safe, secure and beautiful. The site is within a few miles of three
international airports, adjacent to the 12-lane Woodrow Wilson Bridge and on a broad, deep and scenic
waterway.
In keeping with its sophisticated market, The Yacht Show at National Harbor will showcase only quality
yachts of 60 feet overall length or more, offered for sale, new or brokered, or for charter, together with
land and tent exhibits of businesses appropriate to such yachts. The event will take place in and around
the new National Harbor marina. In addition to a regular admission ticket, a V.I.P. ticket will offer
additional amenities to the holder, including, but not limited to, a comfortable waterfront lounge,
concierge service and special hours.
